Welcome to my Awana Cubbies Fan Page

This site is not an official Awana Clubs(R) web site. My name is Barb Hovater, and I live in Washington state. I have about 20 years of experience discipling preschoolers through the Cubbies program, the preschool arm of Awana Clubs. I have been a leader, director, speaker at Awana Ministry Conferences, and Awana Ministry Team member for our local missionary. I was on the advisory board for the 2013 redesign of the Cubbies curriculum, and I helped write the Sparks Leader Handbook. Plus, I was a Chum as a little girl.

 

I love Awana! There is nothing better than teaching people how to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ, and right behind that is teaching people how to teach other people how to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. This site represents a labor of love for the Cubbies program and provides a place for me to share ideas, tools, and tricks I have learned along the way. It is intended to help you better teach others how to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. 

 

You won't find any official Awana material on this web site. Your church needs to be a paid member of Awana Clubs to have access to that material. But I will try to tell you where to find any of the materials I mention on the site and provide links when possible. You will find all things preschool here.
